ROOM AND ACCOMONDATION
Your room will be a place where you can relax and just be you. Early in the school year you and your roommate will agree on which rules that is important to create a good home environment.
The rooms at the school are bright and newly renovated, located at the school property. Most rooms are double rooms, but some are also shared by three. We also have some single rooms (these has to be applied for by contacting the school) Each room has a bathroom for your use only.
The process of allocating the rooms will be worked on until the first day of school in August. Wishes and feedbacks submitted on Questback will be taken into consideration, but we can not guarantee that your wishes will be fullfilled. Students who know eachother from before will usually not be placed in the same room.
BYDEL
The rooms are divided into different floors and sections that we call "Bydel". These are named by the different areas in the city of Oslo. For instance, you can life in the bydel of Frogner, Sagene, Stovner or St. Hanshaugen. The "Bydel" is your home and you will live alongside students from all of the courses at the school. You will also be responsible for cleaning your room and contributing to the floor and "bydel" you life in. Each area/floor has a living room and kitchen.
PRACTICAL INFO
- Its expected be quiet in the house buildings from kl 23.00. Show consideration using sound and music devices that might disturb others.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Your bed in the room is 90x200 cm. In the room you have pillow, duvet, a closet, desk, chair and shelf. If you need an allergy friendly duvet or pillow, you can bring this from home.
- You’re free to bring anything personal to decorate your room. But remember, its only allowed to hang up pictures and things on the wall using multitack(gum)
- Damages that occurs in the room or in the common area must be reported to your "bydel" teacher or the janitor as quickly as possible. Room and inventory will be left clean and in good condition at the end of the school year. If not, there will be sent an invoice.
- The rooms and house buildings will be closed during the school vacations. You can leave all your things, but the wristtband will stop working at 14:00 at last day before vacation.
- To avoid loosing cloths and personal belongings, we recommend that you mark your things with a tag before arrival.
